What is included in my tuition payment?

Our daycare offers the best value in quality child care in a loving, warm, nurturing home environment, and I would like to take a moment to explain in further detail why our daycare might be an excellent choice for your family!

* I am reliable. There has only been 3 days where daycare was completely closed, and that was because I was had emergency gallbladder surgery. We reopened promptly at 6am the following Monday, and I had back-up providers to help me with lifting for my 3 weeks of recovery time.

* I treat your children like my own. Infants are held, rocked, nurtured, and loved on as much as they want to be! They are fed on demand (unless you have them on a schedule already) and they nap as needed, not on a schedule. For toddlers, they are fed nutricious meals and snacks with lots of fruits and veggies! They have scheduled nap times to ensure they get plenty of rest, and diapers are changed on demand, not on a schedule. We play, we laugh, and we learn! There is no sitting in front of a tv all day!

* We have dedicated space in our home *just* for daycare. While different elements of our daycare program do spill out into other areas of our home (eating in the kitchen, infant toys in the living room, and nap time in a separate bedroom), the bulk of our indoor play is contained to one large, completely babyproofed, gated room in our home. Children are free to run around, play, grab things, and just be KIDS with no fear of major injury or "getting into" something they shouldn't because *everything* in the room is THEIRS!

* We have a large fenced in backyard with LOTS of toys, and weather permitting we LOVE to spend time outdoors! We have a wading pool, sand and water table, slide, ride on toys, picnic table, and lots of outdoor toys!

* We are flexible with your schedule! We are opened 12 hours out of the day and you can contract your hours to fit your needs. Each family is allowed to contract up to 10 hours per day to ensure plenty of time for commute to and from work, and beyond that we do our best to extend our flexibility if you occasionally need to be late in an effort to accomodate our parents as much as possible!

What do I need to provide for my child?

What are you guys up to while I'm at work?

We're having a blast, thanks for asking! :) Infants do a lot of sleeping, eating and pooping with some playtime thrown in for good measure! Toddlers have a lot more fun though! We attempt circle time with everyone who is old enough to stand, during this time we do a lot of singing, dancing, and reading! We have a lot of free play, we work on our motor skills, we learn about shapes and colors (our 13 month old has learned the color "blue" and can point to anything blue and say the word "boo"....very exciting stuff for us!), we spend time outside enjoying nature, and the list goes on and on...but we don't want to make you jealous that you're at work while we get to play and learn! :)
